Welcome to Gordon District Scouts. We are located in North East Scotland, just north of Aberdeen City (see the map below). We are made up of 14 Scout Groups that have a total of 72 Sections of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and 14 Explorer Units. The details of these can be found here.
Joining Scouting
Scouting is very popular throughout Gordon and the numbers are the largest they have ever been. That is the good news. The bad news is that most Beaver, Cub & Scouts throughout have a waiting list. If you know the location you wish to join just email the relevant contact, if you are not sure, email dc@gordondistrictscouts.org.uk, stating the name, age and location and we will point you in the right direction and the local leaders will let you know the likelihood of getting a place and when.
