Blair Atholl Jamborette 2012

The 2012 Blair Atholl Jamborette is already being planned. In recent years, Gordon District have been allocated two Patrols (12 people) but we do not currently know what we will get this year. As there is a limited number can attend, we will be holding a seletion camp at Daviot on 17/18th September this year to try to choose those who the Leadership team consider to be the best representatives for Gordon District.

I suggest that you start speaking to your Scouts or Explorers to let them know as it will almost certainly be oversubscribed judging by the previous few selection weeekends. Don't let the young folk in your Section miss out because they don't know it is happening. More details are attached and Kevin Young or Caroline Campbell will be happy to answer any questions or to come round and speak to the Scouts/Explorers.

This camp is a fantastic international opportunity for the relevant age group and I can say with some certaintly that those who attend will enjoy it and remember it for a long, long time.
