Blair Selection Camp

A total of 31 scouts and explorers from the District braved the changeable weather conditions at the weekend to attend the selection camp for the Blair Atholl International Jamborette next summer.

The overall standard was very good and everyone did really well over some of the wettest weather that many of us have ever seen at Daviot.

The selectors had an extremely difficult task to select the scouts and explorers who will represent Gordon at the Jamborette. Unfortunately we do not yet know how many patrols we will be allowed to take so it is a case of wait and see before we can let everyone know our decisions. It is hoped that we will get at least two patrols as in past years but hope that we may be able to get an additional one which will give more folk the opportunity to attend.
