2014 Gordon Gathering - 13th to 15th June 2014.
It's back. The Gordon Gathering is returning in 2014. The venue has been chosen and will be announced later, once formalised with the landowners.
This is a camp for all Sections in Gordon. The Beavers on the Saturday, with the Cubs, Scouts & Explorers from the Friday night through until the Sunday afternoon. Network, SAS and Adult Leaders hopefully helping run the activities.
There will be no organised programme for the Friday evening but Camping will commence then. A programme of activities all day Saturday, running into the campfire in the evening, with the Beavers joining in. Sunday will be a Highland Games, finishing the camp after lunchtime. It is planned to charge £10 per person, including the two lunches and Saturday tea.
More details will come out over the course of the next six months.
World Jamboree and Blair Atholl

Blair Atholl 2014
Bruce Anderson, Laura Anderson, Alice Berry, Jordan Coutts, Douglas Fraser, Peter Gibb, Andrew MacLeod, Matthew McPherson, Ross Proctor, Andrew Russell, Rachel Russell, Ethan Wilson.
Well done to them all, they did superbly well and their standard was high. Sorry for those that didn't make it.
The diary for 2014 is filling. If there are events happening that would be better to avoid others, get the DC the dates so that they can be published. That way we can try to avoid them when planning other dates. Although, it will not always be possible because there is so much going on!
The District Flag is being held on 10-11 May and a District Scout Camp on 3-5 October, both at Daviot.
There are also Adult Training dates and Blair Atholl training camps.
Another camp with no name - yet! Nothing to do with wizards but a group is being set up to plan a large District camp for ALL Sections. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers. It is hoped that Network and Adults will be there running the activities. A date will be published as soon as possible.
