Haddo Campsite is run by 1st Methlick Scouts and can be found beside Haddo House a National Trust Property. The site has two levels and the pheasanty building.haddo1.png

The top level camping site has three fire pits along the hedge line as can just be seen on the photo at the far right. This part of the site also has the flag pole and the most direct access to the toilets which are shared with walkers on the estate grounds. The bottom lower level field has a larger area and is perfect for bigger groups or for using with pioneering/activities away from your tents.

The Pheasantry itself has a small lounge/living room complete with a small fire place and sofas. There is a kitchen containing seats and tables, a large commerical stove (gas not supplied) a small urn, cupboard space and a microwave. Under the Pheasantry there is a small selection of Pioneering poles for use by groups at the site.

You can book the campsite for a weekend or longer by contacting Keith Hewitt - the Warden/Bookings Secretary - Haddo(at)gordondistrictscouts.org.uk
